Q: Can providers provide support at school?
A: Most VA public schools will not allow support aids within the classroom. Some private schools and preschools/daycares will allow BCBA’s to come provide support within the classroom setting, especially around the areas of safety and social interaction with peers. If your child’s school is one that prohibits behavioral support from outside providers, PBS is happy to collaborate however possible with the school and ANY other related services providers such as Speech and Occupational Therapy.
